Project Description
Snag Films is streaming mobile and desktop app that showcases the best in independent film. They are available for iOS and Android. They needed a new design for their iOS app for iPad and IPhone.
They also required a number of design elements for TVOS and Web.

Redesign Challenge
The existing app looked dated and was too dark. The new app needed to be lighter and brighter to reflect the current deisgn trends

A New Lighter Look
The previous version of the app was inspired by skeuomorphism, for the new version of the app, Snag Films wanted a more flat design for the new look. Several sets of icons were produced to supplement the lighter look.
Splash & Home Design Pages
The splash page was re-designed to be clear and easy to login or to sign up, once on the home page navigation was located at the bottom. Large visuals were employed to increase browsing enjoyment.
iPAD Design
The iPad design utilized the same elements as the iPhone app. The more icon space available meant that navigation would be quicker for the user.
TVOS
Snag Films launched their TVOS app, welcome screens were designed, and several new icons were produced just for TVOS.
Icons were also desiged for the TVOS.
Play Icons
The website used a range of different play icons to keep the layout fresh and user experience familiar.
Product Tours
Snag Films was gaining traffic, to capture and convert new visitors; product tour splash pages were designed to communicate the benefits and the features of the service.

The Result
The new iOS app was launched along with many more TVOS and Web assets that helped their growth and to reach and convert new customers.
