Project Description
The Esplanade (East 60th-125th Streets)’ is a community group working towards the restoration and beautification of the waterway along the East River from 60th to 125th Streets in Manhattan. The group aims to coordinate the efforts of government representatives and those of private enterprise with community interests in the area.
This purpose of the site is to showcase and promote events of the Friends of the Esplanade. The structure will be logical and predictable, easy to find information.

Design Process
After the initial discovery interview, a sitemap and wireframes were produced, and the visual designs followed soon after including a new logo design and visual layouts.
Content
The site needed to express what functions the group carried out, a blog for their media releases and also a list of partners.

The Result
The final product was colorful and fun focusing on a warm community feel, with photos of the esplanade and the faces of the people who are involved. Visitors to the site were informed and were able to connect with the group about their various projects.
